Santa's Village

Santa's Village is a Christmas-themed amusement park located on Route 2 in Jefferson, New Hampshire, approximately 15 miles east of Riverside Camping & RV Resort. Operating since 1953, the park has been a White Mountains family tradition for more than seven decades, drawing visitors from across New England and beyond.
Rides and Attractions
The park features over 20 rides and attractions designed for families with children of all ages. Highlights include the Skyway Sleigh monorail with panoramic views of the Presidential Range, the Rudy's Rapid Transit roller coaster, a log flume, and the Great Humbug Adventure dark ride. Younger children enjoy the Ho-Ho-H2O water park, the Jingle Jamboree live shows, and meeting Santa Claus himself in his workshop. All rides, shows, and attractions are included with park admission โ there are no additional per-ride fees.
Seasonal Schedule
Santa's Village typically opens for the summer season in late May and operates through early September. The park reopens for special fall and holiday weekends, including Pumpkin Fest events and a Winter Wonderland celebration. Hours and dates vary by year, so checking the park's official schedule before your visit is recommended. The park is closed during the spring shoulder season and on select weekdays in the early and late season.
Getting There from Riverside
The drive from Riverside Camping & RV Resort to Santa's Village takes about 20 minutes east on Route 2. The route follows the scenic corridor along the northern edge of the White Mountains, passing through the town of Jefferson with views of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range along the way. Arriving early in the morning helps you avoid peak crowds, especially during July and August.
A Full Family Day
Many Riverside guests pair a day at Santa's Village with other nearby attractions. Six Gun City, another family park, is located nearby on Route 2. The town of Jefferson also offers access to the Caps Ridge Trail on Mount Jefferson, one of the shorter Presidential Range hikes. After a busy day, families return to Riverside for evening campfires, fishing on the Connecticut River, or stargazing under Lancaster's dark skies.
